Jens got injuried at the first real race he did after his last injury.
Is Jens getting old?
Should we think of letting him go?
Right now we plan on keeping him, but he really has to get back in shape quickly.
We had a quick look at our points and concluded that we will lose a big amount of points from day 71 the day of the Germany tour.
We will not race in Germany this season, at least not with Waesbergen.
We had hoped to ride Nederlandse Tour, but since sign up starts at day 71 we will still be too high ranked to ride there.
So we will lose a lot of points, and will not be able to get most of it back.
We might try sending Roni Bosmans to Germany but he will never get the same amount of points Jens did.
We now have hope Doderwinkel and Bosmans can keep us in topdivision so we are able to ride the WC with Bosmans.

Too bad about Jens, but I'm pretty sure we haven't seen the last of him yet! Hopefully Roni will get some results in other areas (downhill, for instance), I'm following his progress you see :).
With todays victory I hope to have secured a place in Germany and was really looking forward to a clash between the two best dutch sprinters. To bad we have to wait now. I also think I can make Nederlandse due to good planning last season I will loose 340 points between GT sign up and NL sign up. So there still might be a dutch sprinter topping the ranks at the end of the season.
